Recorded in Helsinki, Paris & NY, Hey Clockface is the latest Elvis Costello & Sebastian Krys Production, following their collaboration on Elvis Costello and The Imposters GRAMMY-winning album Look Now. Hey Clockface also features contributions from Bill Frisell, Nels Cline and Steve Nieve. “I wanted the record to be vivid, whether the songs demanded playing that was loud and jagged or intimate and beautiful,” Costello said of the project’s emotional and dynamic range. Indie Transparent Red 2LP in gatefold jacket packaging.
Recorded in Hollywood, New York City and Vancouver, British Columbia, 'Look Now' is beautiful in its simplicity, reflective in its lyrical vision, surrounded by melodies and orchestrations that are nothing short of heavenly. It's the first album Costello has made with The Imposters since the 2008 release of 'Momofuku' and his first new album since the acclaimed 2013 Roots collaboration, 'Wise Up Ghost'.
'Look Now' is an outstanding 12-strong addition to his song catalogue. Most of the titles were written solely by Elvis Costello although, 'Don't Look Now' and 'Photographs Can Lie' were co-written with Burt Bacharach, who makes a guest appearance, leading The Imposters from the piano for those two ballads.
The album was co-produced by Elvis and Sebastian Krys - the Latin Grammy Producer of the Year for 2007 and 2015, whose love and understanding of music spans both hemispheres.

FIRST EVER US VINYL PRESSING CONTAINING CLASSIC SINGLES FROM 1984-1989 • WHITE VINYL • FULL COLOR INNER SLEEVE The seventeen songs collected here come from The Fall’s Brix Smith era, aka “the golden era of Fall releases.” This is a perfect introduction to the band, and as legendary critic Robert Christgau said, it’s “The only Fall record any normal person need own”. Originally released in 1990, this album has never been released on vinyl in the US, and isn’t easy to find elsewhere. The band’s legendary and notorious frontman Mark E. Smith passed away earlier this year at the age of 60. The band’s output since they formed at the height of the punk rock movement in Manchester in 1976 was prolific to say the least. It’s hard to be exact, but in their four decades, The Fall released 31 studio albums, 5 part-studio/part live albums, 32 live albums, 40 compilations, and Mark E. Smith also released two spoken word albums. Another high number is that of former members of The Fall. There were over 60 different band members over the years. Their high volume of quality work over the last 40+ years had an enormous influence which was extolled greatly after his death. “Smith’s work was the manna that gave a certain cross-section of music culture sustenance for 40 years.” - Pitchfork “Part musical hypnotist, part ranting madman, Smith was a singular figure in post-punk. His Mancunian accent, dry witticisms and plays on words were one of the Fall’s most constant characteristics. Their songs were odysseys into his ever-verbose psyche, marked by repetitive rhythms and melodies.” – Rolling Stone “At various points in the band’s four-decade career, the Fall might sound like punk, hard rock, psychedelia, funk, blues-rock, jazz-rock, electropop or sheer noise. “If it’s me and your granny on bongos, it’s the Fall,” Mr. Smith once declared. The BBC disc jockey John Peel, an early and steadfast supporter, said of the Fall that ‘they are always different, they are always the same.’” - The New York Times
Fine Young Cannibals' ?rst, eponymous album, originally released in 1985, remastered for the very ?rst time with Roland Gift's involvement. Solid Red 140 G vinyl editon, gatefold, printed inner sleeve. The album remastered for the very first time , with Roland Gift's involvement. Includes download card, featuring the album + 29 rare/unreleased tracks (B Sides, live, remixes). "When Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger split from the rest of the English Beat to form General Public, Andy Cox and Dave Steele originally advertised on MTV for a new lead singer for the Beat. When that didn't pan out (although it did work for Wall of Voodoo), Cox and Steele hooked up with the unique and soulful singer Roland Gift and formed the Fine Young Cannibals. Though the trio ?rst hit the mass U.S. consciousness with 1989's electronic dance-pop The Raw and the Cooked, their 1985 debut was a soul-jazz pop charmer that's more low-key but every bit as entertaining. Along the lines of early Everything But the Girl (the two groups share a producer, Robin Millar) with a heavier Motown in?uence, the songs on Fine Young Cannibals are uniformly strong. The singles 'Johnny Come Home' (a plea to a runaway that sounds like the Beat's ska stripped down to its tense and obsessive essentials) and 'Blue' (one of the more oblique and successful antiMargaret Thatcher tracks of its era) are terri?c, but album tracks like the casually devastating 'Funny How Love Is' and the manic 'Like a Stranger' (which incongruously ends with a female chorus shrieking 'You've been too long in an institution!' repeatedly while Gift tries out his Otis Redding impression) are even better. The album's highlight, though, is a reworking of 'Suspicious Minds' (with scarifying backing vocals by Jimmy Somerville) that, while it doesn't replace Elvis' version, certainly takes the song into an interesting new direction. Although often overlooked, especially in the U.S., in the wake of their massively successful follow-up, Fine Young Cannibals is a powerful and satisfying debut."

The second album by the Fine Young Cannibals, The Raw and The Cooked, original released in 1989. Solid White 140 G Vinyl, gatefold, printed inner sleeve. Incudes download card featuring the album + 22 22 rare & unreleased bonus tracks (B Sides, remixes). Remastered for the very ?rst time with Roland Gift's involvement. Fine Young Cannibals had talent to burn -- guitarist Andy Cox and multi-instrumentalist David Steele were veterans of the English Beat, and front man Roland Gift was a vocalist as distinctive as Sam Cooke or Al Green -- and 1989's The Raw and The Cooked shows the UK trio going out in style. The second and ?nal FYC studio album neatly balances such retro-soul numbers as "Good Thing" and such Prince-in?uenced dance cuts as "She Drives Me Crazy." Both of those tracks became No.1 hits, and the remaining songs (all original except for a convincing cover of Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen In Love") are also single-worthy. A double-Platinum smash, The Raw and The Cooked remains among the most listenable albums of the 1980s. Includes the hits "She Drives Me Crazy", "Good Thing", "I'm Not The Man I Used To Be". Features 22 bonus rare/ unreleased tracks -- B sides, and also remixes by David Z, Ploeg Club, Dimitri From Paris Seth Troxler, Prince Paul, Youth, and Arthur Baker.

Following the 2015 release of the critically acclaimed Fast Forward , legendary songwriter Joe Jackson is releasing the 20th studio album of his career. 'Fool' is the fulfilment of a career-long dream: to finish a tour and head straight into the studio with the band firing on all cylinders. So, on July 29th, Joe wrapped up his 2018 summer tour at The Eqyptian Theater in Boise, Idaho and the following day set up shop at Tonic Room Studios in town. The album was co-produced by Jackson and producer Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard, etc.) The band in question was the same group that Jackson has played live with ever since the release of Fast Forward : Teddy Kumpel on guitar, Doug Yowell on drums, and long-time collaborator Graham Maby on bass (Maby was on that first recording session 40 years ago as well). The Fast Forward Tour took on a life of its own and enjoyed several encores over the last 3 years with the band ultimately playing 103 shows together during that time span.
