He appreciated During Bach's era it was quite unusual for composers to improvise on other composer's works. The idea of 'Play Bach' was really to carry on this tradition. As a twentieth century composer, Loussier takes the music of Bach and swings it to the spirit of modern jazz. This album is a tercentennial and salute to the birth of Bach.
